The Bulls are a South African Rugby Union team competing in the Super 14 competition. The team is centred around the Blue Bulls union the Currie cup team (Pretoria plus Limpopo Province), but also draws players from the Falcons (representing the East Rand).Prior to 1998, the Bulls competed in the then-Super 12 as the Blue Bulls.

The Bulls are based in Pretoria and play their home matches at the 50,000 capacity Loftus Versfeld stadium which is also used by the national team. The stadium offers the home side some advantage as it is at altitude effecting players performance and the flight of the ball.
